The North's top rockabilly outfit. The Agar bothers, Ian (guitar
and vocals) and Gary (drums), currently with Ian Rhodes (guitar)
and Mick Wheeler (up-right bass), have been touring the UK and
Europe to great acclaim for the past few years. Recent gigs have
included Newcastle Festival, the famed Tennessee Club in London,
in addition to a Scandinavian tour. They have been invited to
perform at the annual Las Vegas Rock n' Roll weekend in the States
in the Spring of next year.
Their original influences include early Elvis, Carl Perkins, and
a whole range of Sun recording artists, such as Sonny Burgess
and Ray Campi, who put rockabilly firmly on the rock roots map.
Carl Perkins had the Infernos pegged to back him on the European
tour planned just prior to his death, such is their reputation.
Their single, appropriately titled "Local Boy", distributed
by Finland based specialist label "Goofin' Records",
has sold worldwide. A rockin' good night is always guaranteed.
