The Stork Club

Steve Conway - Vocals & Harmonica
Dave Dryden - Guitar
Mick Hutchinson - Bass Guitar
Adrian Evans - Drums

Formed around 1980, The Stork Club features some of the very best and most experienced musicians from the North East scene. They very rarely get together these days, most of the members are busy in other bands, so this should be a memorable reunion.

Heavily influenced by singer/songwriters John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Tom Petty and Ryan Adams and bands such as The Jayhawks and The Gin Blossoms, they bring out the best of Americana with an energetic blend of soul, R&B and blues that takes unsuspecting audiences by storm.

Steve Conway played Blakey in the 1970s with The Beautiful Losers who won a prestigious Melody Maker award and also featured Chris Rea on slide guitar and piano. Steve has fond memories of those late nights at Blakey - early morning curries and scary journeys home!

Stokesley's Dave Dryden is one of the region's greatest pro guitarists - world tours with Chris Rea and numerous stints with a whole range of American R&B and Soul artists including a recent tour of Ireland where he was backing up the legendary Four Tops.
